Hello I’m Brittany the owner of One Rich Cookie. I’m from New Orleans La. Where I was born and raised. When I was a kid I always watched my family cook and I knew I wanted to help because it made my soul happy. I would always go in the kitchen and try to cook and bake even when I didn’t know what I was doing lol. As I got older I started working as a security officer for a very successful 10 years until I met my husband. I knew I didn’t want to work for anyone else anymore but at the time I didn’t have a choice. Until one day my husband told me to quit my job. For a while I was just a stay at home mom watching my kids and life pass me by. One day I got a phone call from my dad then my mother. We talked about how people have so much talent and let it go to waste by not chasing there dream, that’s when it hit me. I knew god was trying to tell me something and it was for me to stop making excuses and chase my dreams and That’s when One Rich Cookie was born.
